CSG Certifies One-of-One Card Featuring the Signatures of Six Brazilian Soccer Greats

Certified Sports Guaranty® (CSG®) recently certified and authenticated a one-of-one card that features some of the most iconic Brazilian soccer players of all time, each one gracing the card with their own handwritten signature. The 2022 Leaf Vivid Six Autographs - Red #VS-2 includes Pelé, Cafu, Dani Alves, Ronaldo Nazário, Neymar Júnior and Vinícius Júnior. The ultra-rare card is graded CSG 8.5, with the autographs graded CSG 9.

The 2022 Leaf Vivid Soccer series is a high-end set that only features autographed cards. Each card is extremely rare since all are numbered to 10 or fewer copies produced. There are various signed cards in each four-card box, including some scarce examples that feature multiple autographs like the Red #VS-2. The Vivid cards are appropriately named for their bright colors, with this unique Six Autographs example showing three player images down the side of the card on the front and on the back. Both sides are dominated by each player's large corresponding signature in blue ink.

A Card of Iconic Players

Pelé

The elite status of each Brazilian included on the card cannot be understated. First, Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pelé, was arguably the greatest soccer player ever. The forward and attacking midfielder helped popularize the game across the world, becoming the first global soccer star, as he scored almost an average of one goal per game he ever played. Among the most successful athletes of the 20th century, Pelé led Brazil to three World Cup victories across three decades in 1958, 1962 and 1970. To this day, he is the only player in history to have won three of the coveted international trophies.

Cafu

On the defensive side of the ball, few players are as decorated as Brazilian right-back Marcos Evangelista de Morais, who is known as Cafu. He is regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation, with the defender winning two World Cups and several of European soccer's top trophies while playing in Italy's Serie A for Roma and AC Milan. Brazil has won an unmatched five World Cup titles, with Cafu helping the team to its fourth and fifth championships, in 1994 and 2002.

Dani Alves

Brazil has been spoiled by world class right-backs in recent decades, with Daniel Alves da Silva, better known as Dani Alves, picking up the torch from Cafu as the next generation's great wing defender. He is the second-most capped player in Brazil national team history and has won more club titles than any other player ever, tying Alves with Lionel Messi for the amazing record.

Ronaldo

Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, better known as simply Ronaldo, is one of the sport's greatest what-ifs. Ronaldo is widely recognized as one of the best to ever play the game, but many think he would have been the greatest of all time if injuries didn't slow him down. The soccer phenom was unstoppable at the club and international level in the 1990s. At only 20 years old, he won FIFA Player of the Year (one of three in his career) and also won two Ballon d'Or awards. Additionally, he won two World Cups and numerous European titles while playing in Spain and Italy.

Neymar Júnior

As one of two players featured on the card who are still playing today, Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior (Neymar Júnior) is one of the biggest current names in the soccer world. As a teenager, Neymar first broke onto the scene, as he became a fixture at the pro club level at only 17 years old, and at the national team level at only 18. A testament to his superb skillset on the pitch, the forward became the most expensive player ever when Paris Saint-Germain Football Club paid Barcelona a €222 million transfer fee for Neymar to join PSG in 2017.

Vinícius Júnior

Last but not least, the present and future of Brazilian soccer: Vinícius José Paixão de Oliveira Júnior (Vinícius Júnior). Still only 22 years old, he is already one of the world's most effective wingers. After making his senior debut at just 16 years old at Flamengo, he has become a staple down the left wing for Real Madrid. Júnior has already won several of Europe's biggest trophies, including two La Liga titles and the Champions League trophy.
